The CRCT is right around the corner! It will begin on April 19th at 8:00 a.m. sharp! All students in grades 1 - 5 will be taking the test. The CRCT only tests Georgia curriculum; students are tested on the Georgia standards that they have been learning all year.
Students in first and second grade are tested on Reading, Language, and Mathematics. They must score an 800 to meet standards.
Students in third, fourth, and fifth grade are tested on Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. They must score an 800 in each subject to meet standards.
Students in third grade must receive a score of 800 or higher on the reading portion of the test, or they can not be promoted to fourth grade.
Students in fifth grade must receive a score of 800 or higher on the reading and mathematics portions of the test, or they can not be promoted to sixth grade.
You may practice for the test with your child by logging on to this website: CRCT Practice Website. If your child does not know his or her login information, check with the classroom teacher or you may email me.
It is important that your child be in attendance each day of testing.
